We hold an annual Calf and Lamb Day on the first Thursday of Term 4 each year.
This involves:
Rearing a Calf or Lamb
Guidelines are sent home early in Term 3 about this and information is then placed on this page of our website. Each section has a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and some highly commended placings.
We will also have a preschool ring and preschoolers can just turn up on the day and register.
CALF AND LAMB DAY COURSE GUIDELINES
Hall of Creativity
Each year the children will create/make one item, in class on the day before Calf and Lamb Day. Guidelines are sent home in Term 3 about this and the information is then placed on this page of our website. Families are asked to provide some materials for this. Please make sure you read the guidelines/criteria carefully because all creations are judged against the guidelines/criteria. Each Year group has a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and some highly commended placings. The ribbons for this are presented at prize giving at the conclusion of Calf and Lamb Day.
The creations will be on display in the school hall on the day of Calf and Lamb Day. At the conclusion of Calf and Lamb Day the children can take their creations home.
