On Thursday last week Kate from the Stratford library came to share some stories about matariki and puanga with the children from Room 1,2 and 3. She then helped us to make our own matariki lanterns in preperation for this year's Maori new years celebrations. We had a great time decorating our glass jars with stickers and tissue paper. We can't wait to see them lit up at night.
WOW 🤩We were once again blown away by the awesome Puanga flag designs we received this year.
