Kids Shovel Sand in to the Now - Bulging sandpit.

Tim Gilbert recently brought his tractor and trailer to our school and refilled our sandpit.

 He dumped the sand on the concrete outside the sandpit because of the angle of our sunshades.  Which created a slight problem! We had all the sand but not in the pit! Therefore a range of children from all classes had to shovel the sand into the sandpit,

 "It was hot and hard work" said Connor Smith who was one of the people shovelling. 

 "It was a great example of the 'Connected Learning Star' with the school community all working together" said Year 7 & 8 teacher Shannon O'Brien.

We would like to thank Vickers Quary and Tim Gilbert for supplying the sand and the Tractor. I am sure we will all enjoy playing in it!
